USCB Golf Tournament Raises over $25,000 for Athletics Scholarships

USCB student, Coley Davis, and team member, Ken Tessier, represented St. Joseph’s Candler Sports Medicine and South Eastern Orthopedics Center.

The University of South Carolina Beaufort  held its 5th Annual Sand Shark Golf Tournament Scholarship Fundraiser at Chechessee Creek Golf Club on May 23rd.  This was the first year the tournament was held at Chechessee, who donated the use of their course and facilities.

According to USCB Athletic Director, Ty Rietkovich “Our annual golf tournament is an important link between USCB supporters in our community and our student-athletes. With their help we are able to raise funds to support athletic scholarships. This is the best way to help Sand Sharks be winners in the classroom and on the athletic fields.”

Over $25,000 was raised for athletics scholarships.
