Two injured in Christmas night shooting in Burton

Shortly after 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 25 deputies were dispatched to a shooting on Lexxus Lane in Milledge Village in Burton.
A man and woman were injured when the car that they were riding in on Lexxus Lane was shot at by another vehicle driving by on Milledge Village Road.
The woman sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, while the man was injured by glass and debris as a result of the vehicle being shot. Both were treated at Beaufort Memorial Hospital before being treated at the Medical University of South Carolina.
