The vehicle which can cost from $500,000 upwards to $100,000,000, was purchased through the Department of Defense’s 1033 program which allows for sale of surplus weaponry and tatical vehicles to local law enforcement angencies, according to an article in Wikipedia. The event was sponsored by the Junior Service League of Beaufort.
