As part of its 7th annual “Dream Bigger” social media campaign, Sparklight has awarded a $2,500 grant to Beaufort Academy.
With the grant from Sparklight, Beaufort Academy will purchase programmable robots to enhance STEM education for its middle school students. The robots will help students develop critical coding, problem-solving and collaboration skills, preparing them for future careers in STEM fields.
The grant will also support Beaufort Academy in fostering an engaging, technology-driven learning environment.
“We are thrilled to win the Dream Bigger grant from Sparklight,” said Jesse Davidson, a science and math teacher at Beaufort Academy. “STEM at Beaufort Academy, and the Sphero robots we’ll purchase with this funding, will give our students invaluable hands-on coding experience. Winning this grant was a true community effort, bringing our school together in an incredible way to support our students and their future in STEM.”
