Beaufort County Sheriff, P.J. Tanner, spoke at the November meeting of the American Association of University Women. The topic of his discussion was the “The Opioid Epidemic and Its Effect on the Beaufort County Area.”

“The information and the statistics shared by the speaker proved enlightening by comparing the national trends with the situation in Beaufort County,” according to a press release.

A question-and-answer period followed the discussion.
