Seahawks sink Eagles for fifth straight win

Hilton Head High boys soccer ran its winning streak to five games Friday with a 3-1 road triumph over Beaufort High. 

The two teams traded a pair of goals to start the match before the Seahawks rattled off two unanswered tallies to lock down the win. HHIHS dominated the majority of the match and found goals from Niko Morales, Alan Leyva, and Dillon Manrique. 

Goalkeeper Danny Claudio provided a strong spark in net, making two crucial saves in the opening minutes. 

Hilton Head High (11-2, 8-1) travels to James Island on Thursday with the Region 7-4A title on the line. 

Beaufort High (4-8, 2-6) concludes its season Thursday at home against May River.
