The SC Badkatz 14U softball team came in 2nd place in the USSSA Mid-Atlantic Championships in Rock Hill on July 25th. The team had to battle back through the loser’s bracket beating the eventual champions in the first championship game to force the final ‘If’ game before ultimately falling in the final. Standout performances for the Badkatz were Alisa Depew (.500 Avg., 8 RBI’s, 5 runs), Emily Crosby (.500 Avg., 1 run, 4 RBI’s) and Journeigh Doray (.400 Avg., 3 RBI’s, 2 runs).
