The Port Royal Sound Foundation (PRSF) Maritime Center received a new G3 Jon Boat and Yamaha Engine donated by Hilton Head Boathouse. The boat will be used primarily to collect specimens for the 3,000 gallon aquarium and viewing tanks inside the Maritime Center. The Waddell Mariculture Center provides the larger fish for the aquarium but smaller fish and other marine life need to be obtained by staff. Port Royal Sound Foundation is dedicated to the betterment and conservation of the waters and lands of our unique salt marsh ecosystem that is the Port Royal Sound Estuary system.
