Sammie is a declawed adult female American Short Hair cat. She loves to be scratched on her head and will follow you around. Citizens who visit the Beaufort County Animal Shelter and Control to turn in an animal or look for a lost pet may do so anytime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Those who wish to adopt an animal must do so between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The shelter is closed on Sunday.
