Panini’s Cafe goes through changes

Panini’s Cafe will be reopening at the beginning of February with a whole new look, and a new name as well.

Look for ‘Panini’s on the Waterfront’ to emerge form the current large-scale remodeling project that has the popular downtown Beaufort restaurant closed for the remainder of this January.  “We’re changing a lot more than just the name of the restaurant.  From floorcovering, to decor, in both our upstairs and downstairs dining rooms.  Look for lots of detail changes too, and a few walls aren’t where they used to be,” said owner Paul Thompson.  “The entire project’s purpose is to improve our customers’ experience, and bring you a better Panini’s.”

With the current project going as scheduled, Paul said that the exact day of the reopening of the restaurant will be announced shortly.

Also planned is an Grand Reopening & Ribbon Cutting event, tenatively scheduled for February 8th.
