Holiday schedule set for City of Beaufort
City of Beaufort offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 25 and 26, and Monday, Jan. 1, for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Capital Waste Services will also be taking December 25 and January 1 off. Normal trash and recycling pickups that are scheduled for Mondays will move to Tuesdays, and trash/recycling services each holiday week will move back a day, with the Friday routes being serviced on Saturday both weeks.
Holiday schedule set for Beaufort County
In observance of the Christmas holiday, all Beaufort County government buildings will be closed Friday, Dec. 22; Monday, Dec. 25; and Tuesday, Dec. 26. Offices will also be closed the following Monday, Jan. 1, for New Year’s Day.
Convenience Centers in Beaufort County will close at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 24 and will remain closed Monday, Dec. 25. They will resume normal operating hours Tuesday, Dec. 26.

Beaufort Executive Airport will operate at the following schedule:
- Christmas Eve, 8 a.m. to noon
- Christmas Day, FBO closed, self-serve avgas available
- New Year’s Eve, 8 a.m. to noon
- New Year’s Day, FBO closed, self-serve avgas available
