County Natural Resources Committee to host workshop

The Beaufort County Natural Resources Committee is hosting a workshop to review draft studies for a discussion on impact fees at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27.

The meeting will be broadcast on The County Channel and carried live on the County’s Facebook page.

The public is invited to submit comments before the meeting by going to https://bit.ly/2EA7pnv. Comments will be closed at 4 p.m.

All impact fee comments submitted through our website will be distributed directly to Committee Chair Alice Howard who will share them with committee members.

HELP of Beaufort hosting Boston Butt fundraiser

HELP of Beaufort, the largest volunteer organization in Beaufort County providing direct service, is holding a Boston Butt fundraiser.

Boston Butts, cooked by Sea Eagle Market, are being sold for $40.

Pick up is from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 5 at HELP of Beaufort at 1810 Ribaut Road in Port Royal.
