County Council member Glover to hold public meeting

Beaufort County Council member York Glover (District 3) will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, about local stormwater matters. The meeting will be held at the St. Helena Branch Library, 6355 Jonathan Francis Sr. Road, St. Helena. Guest speakers will be Eric Larson, Beaufort County’s Director of Environmental Engineering and Land Management, and Elizabeth Penn Sanders, Resident Maintenance Engineer for the SC Department of Transportation.

Local entrepreneur to launch reality show

Local entrepreneur and Lowcountry transplant Brittney Hiller, founder of Effervescence YogaSpa in Port Royal, has partnered with WSCG-TV to create FlowCounty, a locally-filmed, 30-minute reality TV style show that will highlight yoga, wellness, and alternative health insight.

Currently, creators of Flowcountry are offering sponsorship opportunities for local businesses.

Sponsorships will include appreciation announcement to sponsors in the beginning and ending of the show, logo placement on show preview commercials, as well as the opportunity for on-location filming and product placement. FlowCountry is estimated to reach over 800,000 viewers.
