By Gene Brancho: Attention all RUNNERS! The Exchange Club of Beaufort is hosting a 5K Run/Walk fundraiser this Saturday, October 29th…over the New McTeer Bridge – Connecting Port Royal to Lady’s Island. What a great way to ‘christen’ the new bridge.
Registration is available online until Thursday October 27th at www.active.com and you’re welcome to register the morning of race at the foot of the new bridge in Port Royal beginning at 9:00 am. The race will begin at 10:00 am sharp. The first 100 paid registrants will receive an event t-shirt. Proceeds from this event will go towards Exchange Club youth projects. An awards ceremony in 5 age divisions will take place afterward at the top of the bridge. Parking is available at the Daugs Law Firm.
