National Cancer Survivors Day

Cancer survivors and their guests are invited to celebrate “Hope Grows Here” by attending Beaufort Memorial Hospital’s fourth annual Cancer Survivors Day Celebration on Sunday, June 2, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Beaufort Memorial Keyserling Cancer Center.

The free celebration is open to any cancer survivor and his/her guest, and will feature live music, refreshments and a brief program. Featured speakers will include BMH physicians, nurses, and cancer survivors who will share their personal stories of survivorship.

“In honor of National Cancer Survivors Day, we like to celebrate the hope which inspires the survivors who live in our community, and those expressions that demonstrate the strength, courage, and vitality of the many women and men who thrive after a cancer diagnosis,” said Connie Duke, BMH director of oncology programs.

Registration for this free event is requested by Friday, May 31. Call (843) 522-5585 to register or for more information.
