This year the Gullah Geechee Initiative Foundation, Inc. (GGIF) sponsored the “Mandela Day Food Distribution Project” on Saturday, July 18 in commemoration of the 102th birthday anniversary of Nelson Mandela, the first South African President and a true servant of the people. GGIF would like to thank all who helped with this year’s Mandela Day food distribution. Also, special thanks to Simba League, Girl Scouts Troop 4105, S.C.
