After moving here last year from western North Carolina, just south of Asheville, Sofia Karen Dow of Lady’s Island admits, “The beauty of this area continues to amaze me.” Dow snapped this photo from the bluff in Port Royal toward Parris Island during one late afternoon as a balmy day was just starting to become a serene evening.
