Congratulations, Amanda Dickman
On behalf of the Board of the Friends of Beaufort Library, I would like to congratulate Amanda Dickman on her appointment as Library Director for our County library system. This was a very smart appointment!
Ms. Dickman was well-mentored by her worthy predecessor, Ray McBride, and the Friends Board has enjoyed working with her for some time now. Aside from her excellent professional qualifications, she has the temperament to draw staff, Boards, County officials and the community together – no small achievement in these times.
