On Sunday, August 14, the Lady’s Island Middle School Cheerleaders came away with five trophies after attending the Universal Cheerleaders Association Summer Camp at Lander University.
The squad, coached by Aleesa Forsee, received four first place trophies in the fight song competition, dance competition, extreme routine competition, and a superior squad trophy. They placed second in the Cheer Routine competition.
The Lady’s Island Middle School Cheerleaders are: Jael Rhodan, Kaie Saunders, Shyanne Seng, Emily Eggers, Madison Mullen, Valya Shipsey, Dominique Lindsey, Keara McCullough, Isabelle Leiblein, Maggie Amelia Williams, Addison Boswell, Maya Lange, Emily Ramos, Mackenzie Burk, Madison Powell, Taylor Turner, Sara Simpkins, Savannh Mullen, Melis Tirhi, and Sequoia Braddy.
