People grateful for the nurses in their lives can show their gratitude in a personal way. Beaufort Memorial Hospital and The Blood Alliance, its sole provider of blood, are inviting hospital employees and community residents to give the lifesaving gift of blood in honor of a favorite nurse or caretaker at a blood drive.
Organized by BMH nurses as part of their National Nurses Week celebration, the drive will be held at the hospital at 955 Ribaut Road on Thursday, May 10 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and again on Friday, May 11, 7 a.m.-1 p.m.
If they wish, donors can record the name of their honoree on a board at the drive.
