High school softball: Beaufort High Lady Eagles suffer season-ending loss

The Beaufort High softball team suffered a season-ending loss on Monday, May 5, falling to Lexington. In a high-scoring high school softball game, Lexington pulled away to defeat the Eagles 13-11.

Following the loss, Beaufort High fell to 16-12, concluding the campaign with a solid winning record.

But the team had an offensive-heavy effort with Savannah Mullen, Mari Cook, Krislynn Coolong and Molly Clark delivering three hits apiece.
