Ladies Who Lunch North of the Broad recently enjoyed a scrumptious lunch at MJ’s Soul Food Restaurant. The restaurant opened about a year ago on Sea Island Parkway, St. Helena Island, by owners Mary Jenkins and Susan Jenkins.

Besides a varied menu, art work from a local artist is featured on the walls. St. Helena artist John Bradley spoke about his inspiration for the mural that he painted on the restaurants back wall. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, ambiance and the portraits by John. The group meets once a month for lunch in special places north of the Broad River.
