First Friday/Night On The Town

Beaufort Merchants Association encourages you to shop small this holiday season

This First Friday, Dec. 6, is also the annual Night on the Town celebration which will be held along Bay and surrounding streets downtown from 6 to 9 p.m.

The downtown business community will join in the celebration. Downtown shops, restaurants, and galleries will be open late on this First Friday of December, so everyone will have the opportunity to support local businesses and shop for unique gifts to round out their holiday shopping.

Some downtown merchants and businesses will offer promotions, specials, and activities throughout the evening. And Beaufort High School’s “Voices” will perform.

In addition, to offer the community shopping convenience and personalized service, many downtown businesses will be open until 7p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays up until Christmas Eve.

Through New Year’s Day, parking in the Downtown Marina parking lot (only) is free.

All are welcome to take a break from crowded malls and tedious online browsing and enjoy downtown dining and shopping in support of local Beaufort businesses.
