The Dataw Historic Foundation hosted a record 185 dinner guests to hear Victoria Smalls on January 11 for the annual Fireside Chat. Smalls was engaging and informative, while the entire evening was a tribute to the Gullah Geechee people, from decor to food choices. Beaufort Mayor Phil Cromer and Dataw Historic Foundation President Marilyn Peck are pictured along with Smalls. Submitted photos
