Final presidential debate set for Thursday night

The final presidential debate is scheduled to take place on Thursday, Oct. 22 at Belmont University in Nashville.

The live, 90-minute-long event will air on most major news stations at 9 p.m., that is if both candidates agree to go forward.

The Commission on Presidential Debates announcedMonday night that it will mute President Trump’s and Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s microphone while the other is speaking and so far, both candidates have agreed to the new rules, according to various news reports.

The debate will be broken up into six 15-minute segments and each candidate will havetwo minutes to speak uninterrupted at the start of each segment.
