Scores of children of all ages and their families braved the thunderstorms and headed to Hunting Island State Park for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The annual event is sponsored by the park but manned with volunteers from Friends of Hunting Island. Children could also participate in a coloring contest and everyone had the chance to sit with the Easter Bunny who stopped by to say “hello” to all the children.
