The Exchange Club of Beaufort will host its 28th Annual Auction and Party on Saturday, November 14, at The Shed at 809 Paris Avenue, Port Royal from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. Admission is $25 and proceeds from this event benefit the Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA), Beaufort’s local shelter for abused and neglected children. Over its 27-year history, the auction has helped raise more than $660,000 for CAPA.
Each year the community gathers together to bid on anything from chocolate for a year to a mountain getaway. In advance of the auction, items are available for prebidding at www.biddingowl.com/capa.
