Rhogue Wallace drove in five runs and Ollie Holmes tossed six solid innings to lead Beaufort High baseball to a 10-4 home win over Bluffton on Monday, moving the Eagles within one win of clinching the No. 2 seed from Region 7-4A in the Class 4A playoffs.

Wallace opened the scoring with a two-run double to spark a four-run first inning and added a bases-clearing triple in the four-run fourth to break it open.

Holmes kept the Bobcats off the board until the fifth, striking out six and allowing three runs, four hits, and one walk over six frames. Graham Ruff gave up one run and one hit with one strikeout in the seventh.

Wallace was 2-for-3 with two runs and five RBIs, Holmes added an RBI double and scored twice, and Ruff had an RBI single for the Eagles. Carson Yeager was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Nate Hoyt added two hits and an RBI for the Bobcats.
