Eagles’ best season yet ends with playoff defeat

Beaufort High girls lacrosse wrapped up the first winning season in program history with a 27-11 home loss to a strong Greenville High squad in the first round of the SCHSL Class 4A playoffs on Wednesday.

The Eagles fell behind early and never fully recovered as the Red Raiders kept the pressure on. Amyah Todd scored four goals and Annabelle Hooper tallied three for the Eagles, while Sophia Pellegrino and Holland Perryman each scored twice. 

The Eagles finish the season with a 7-6 overall record
