County libraries, pools re-open on limited basis

While most county government buildings and facilities will continue to be closed or limited to the public until further notice because of the Covid-19 pandemic, there have been some re-openings.

All Beaufort County library branches have re-opened as limited public access with 50 percent of normal occupancy. Curbside service continues, and bookmobiles will resume limited scheduled visits where customers will not be allowed on board.

All library events and meeting room reservations remain suspended. Visitors and employees are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Some Beaufort County Parks and Recreation re-openings began Nov. 30:

Battery Creek Pool – Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Beaufort Pool – Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Bluffton Pool – Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Burton Wells Recreation Center – Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
