The Beaufort County Collaborative Organization of Services for Youth (COSY) Trust will be celebrating “All Things Southern” at its annual fundraiser 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at Tabby Place on Port Republic Street.

The evening will feature food from local restaurants, entertainment and the opportunity to give back to the Trust which provides financial support to at-risk children and their families. The Trust helps provide additional activities such as sports program and summer camps for clients who might not otherwise be able to participate.
The COSY program is comprised of representatives from 14 state, regional and local agencies, which provide case management for clients and their families.
The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services has recognized COSY as a mediation model and is working to replicate the process in the other counties.
