From staff reports

The City of Beaufort is inviting area residents to a ceremony Saturday, Sept. 11, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States.

The ceremony, which will begin at 7 p.m., will be held at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. It will pay tribute to those who lost their lives in these attacks, and the heroes who saved the lives of so many people.
