City begins to hold in-person Council, board meetings

From staff reports

After more than a year of remote meetings, the City of Beaufort have started begin to conduct meetings in person at City Hall.

City Council will conduct its work sessions and regular meetings – the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month – at 5 p.m. in the Planning Conference Room (work session), and 7 p.m. in Chambers (regular meeting). This started May 11.

These boards and commissions will also conduct their meetings at City Hall: Design Review Board, Historic District Review Board, Metropolitan Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals and Neighborhood Association.

The agenda of each meeting will have information on remote public participation. The meetings will continue to be live-streamed on the City’s Facebook page.

Members of the public who attend in person are asked to maintain social distancing and wear masks during the meetings.
