Careers Encounter Day

Steve Fitzgerald, Dean of Students at Bridges Preparatory School, talks to a group of 8th-graders during the inaugural Eigth Grade Careers Encounter Day on Friday, March 10, at Bridges Prep. More than 50 presenters from varying career paths spoke to the classes about what they do for a living and how their career paths change. An underlying theme was to have a “Plan B” as things don’t always go the way we expect. Bob Sofaly/The Island News
