BHS runners race in Savannah Bridge Run

The high school cross country season is over, but Beaufort High School runners Nash Mills and Max Davis are still running strong.

Mills finished second in the “Double Pump” race and Davis was third at the annual Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run on Dec. 1.

The Double Pump consists of the 5K and 10K races together, including three trips across the Talmadge Bridge.

Mills, 14, finished the 15K race in 56:38, just over four minutes behind winner Samuel Berendsen of Marietta, Ga., while Davis, 17, finished in 57:43.
