Beaufort tennis players fared well in the Dataw Summer Splash on Dataw Island recently. The Beaufort-based duo of David Holland and Jill Wilson won the 9.0 mixed double division, defeating Kim Perritt and David Williams, 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (7).
In men’s 4.5 singles, Beaufort’s Todd Stone finished runner-up to Charleston’s Taylor Davis.
Beaufort’s Jennifer Baldwin won the women’s 4.5 singles title.
In the 8.0 mixed doubles, Beaufort’s Suzanne Burns and Peter Clark claimed a title.
