Cancer survivors and their guests are invited to celebrate a “Life in Full Bloom” by attending Beaufort Memorial Hospital’s second annual Cancer Survivors Day Celebration on Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Beaufort Memorial Hospital Riverview Café.
The free celebration is open to any cancer survivor and his/her guest, and will feature live music, refreshments, a brief program, door prizes and more. Program speakers will include BMH physicians, nurses, and cancer survivors who will share positive and uplifting information and accounts about surviving and thriving — living “Life in Full Bloom” — after a cancer diagnosis.
“We find so much inspiration in the survivors who live in our community, and we want to celebrate the strength, courage, and vitality of the many women and men who thrive after a cancer diagnosis,” says Connie Duke, RN, director of Beaufort Memorial Hospital’s Oncology Services. “We’re excited for this opportunity to honor the survivors in our community, and we’re thrilled to be able to host a fun, uplifting party!”
Registration for this free event is requested by Wednesday, June 1. Call (843) 522-5585 to register or for more information.
