Beaufort Memorial offers two free joint pain seminars

More than 25 million Americans experience some level of joint discomfort. But there are available solutions.

Beaufort Memorial Physical Therapist and Orthopedic Care Coordinator Andrea Sadler is hosting a free joint pain seminar this month. The hour-long class will be held in Room 364 at the Beaufort Memorial Medical and Administrative Center, 990 Ribaut Road (directly across the street from the hospital).

Attendees can choose between the sessions scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 or 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21.

Sadler will discuss joint anatomy and symptoms of joint-related problems and will provide information about treatments to relieve or resolve pain that can be personalized for specific needs. Options include in-home exercises, medical management, physical therapy, as well as surgery. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.

The seminar is free, but registration is required as space is limited. To learn more or make a reservation visit BeaufortMemorial.org/JointPainClass or call 843-522-5585.
