Beaufort Memorial expands access during storm

/

As Hurricane Dorian affected the community, Beaufort Memorial Hospital and its emergency room  remained open, while physician practices, outpatient services and surgeries, billing and medical records, and the Express Care clinic be closed through the end of the week.

However, the hospital expanded access, as people needing non-emergency medical care can still connect with a doctor 24/7 by downloading the BMH Care Anywhere app or visiting BMHCareAnywhere.org. Beaufort Memorial will waive all fees for these virtual visits through Sept. 15. For a free visit, enter the code DORIAN on the payment screen.

The service will be available throughout the evacuation period and can also be accessed outside of South Carolina for those who left the area.
