Beaufort Academy suffers one-point loss at Charleston College

The Beaufort Academy girls basketball team fell just short of landing in the win column in its latest outing Monday, Dec. 8. Forced to play shorthanded in the backcourt, Beaufort Academy dropped a one-point decision to host Charleston Collegiate, 23-22.

As a result, Beaufort Academy slipped to 0-3.

Anna Dyer and Allison Alvarez led the Eagles with eight points apiece.

Beaufort Academy remained in the loss column after dropping back-to-back games in the Warhawk Classic, a season-opening tournament held last week.

The Eagles will compete in the Coca-Cola Classic tournament, scheduled for Thursday and Friday.

Beaufort Academy is slated to host Faith Christian for a home opener on Dec. 15.
