The South Carolina Department of Transportation will be repairing the Richard Woods Memorial Bridge this week. This means the bridge will be CLOSED Monday September 17th through Wednesday September 19th from 9PM-5:30AM each night. The McTeer Bridge will be used as an alternate route.
Motorists need to be aware barricades, cones, signs, message boards and flashing arrows will be put in place before and during the construction. Beaufort County asks the public 
to use caution in the area of the bridge and to follow the directions of the posted signs.
