The most unconventional football season in Battery Creek’s history ended Friday night as the Dolphins lost to host Crestwood High School, 47-10, in the first round of the Class 3A Playoffs.

Jeremiah Dilbert had a stellar performance to end his career as he racked up 206 rushing yards on 24 carries and scored the Dolphins’ lone touchdown. The offense was held quiet after Dilbert’s first quarter score, only racking up 15 offensive yards the remainder of the game.

Jaden Daniels led the Dolphins defense, posting a team-high eight tackles. Anthony Phelan recorded five tackles, four which were for a loss. Leroy Tyus added five and Kendall McMillon picked off the Crestwood quarterback for an interception.

With the loss, Battery Creek ends the season 2-5
