Junior linebacker and tight end Isaiah Sloan was an offensive and defensive standout for the Dolphins in the season opener. He led all linemen in blocking percentage, and recorded a touchdown pass reception of 85 yards. Defensively, he was second in tackles. For his efforts in the game, he was named the team most outstanding player by the coaching staff for his contributions on offense, defense as well as special teams.
