April is an extremely busy month for Palmetto Animal League:
On Sunday, April 15, PAL hosts a three-hour vaccination clinic offering rabies and distemper shots for cats and dogs as well as low-cost microchipping.
From Friday, April 20 to Monday, April 23, the annual Bid for PAL online auction returns with hundreds of items going to the highest bidders. There are items ranging from dining certificates to getaways, spa treatments to golf, pet portraits and services and boarding. The preview has begun but the bidding does not start until 8 a.m. April 20.
On Sunday, April 22, celebrity chef Robert Irvine opens his NOSH restaurant for a special private dinner to help raise funds for PAL. Each “household” will receive an Irvine cookbook and he will sign them.
