Each year for two decades, American Legion Beaufort Post 9 has held a golf tournament to raise funds for local youth programs. These include the American Legion baseball teams, the Ospreys; sending students to boys and girls state encampments; holding the oratorical scholarship programs; offering college scholarships to deserving students; and other youth activities.

The tournament will be held at The Legends at Parris Island Golf Course on Friday, Feb. 23. Participants enjoy a fun round of golf, including Mulligans, lunch, drinks, prizes and awards.

Sponsorship of holes for this most worthy cause is available. Any other gifts of support are welcomed. All contributions are used to fund our local youth programs.

For more information, to sign up to play or to sponsor or support the tournament, contact George Miller at 843-470-0928 or Paul Sweet at 843-812-3119.
