The votes are in…

Voters took to the polls on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6. Of the 106,882 registered voters in Beaufort County, 73,676 cast ballots, making voter turnout 69%, according to the Beaufort County Board of Elections and Registration. In local races, Mike McFee and George O’Kelley were re-elected to Beaufort City Council, while Michael Rivers, James Beckert and Geri Kinton won seats on the Beaufort County Board of Education.
