The new park on Lady’s Island on Springfield Road will be done by the end of February.
According to Jami Rankin of Joco Construction, “the playground equipment and restroom facilities are completed, and all that’s left to do is to lay down the asphalt entry road from Springfield to the park, lay some clay onto the baseball fields, and some minor landscaping” cosmetics. “Look for field #1 to be ready for spring play, and field #2 to be ready by mid-summer.”
