USCB Center for the Arts opens season with All Shook Up

USC Beaufort’s Center for the Arts opens its exciting new season at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Beaufort Theatre Company’s performance of “All Shook Up,” inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 18; 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24; and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, as well as 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 26. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and $15 for students, and are available at USCBCenterForTheArts.com. Tickets are also available through the box office from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday; by calling 843-521-4145; and at the door one hour prior to showtime.

Loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”
