As it was drilled into my head during my Beaufort Gazette days, “Birds don’t buy newspapers!” However, as I was leaving the Battery Creek baseball game on Friday, April; 16, I noticed a small flock of Canadian geese feeding in a large patch of cloverbehind the football stadium and noticed this handsome fellow and just couldn’t resist.
