JPII hosting virtual open house
John Paul II Catholic School is hosting a virtual open house at noon on Sunday, Nov 15, at www.johnpaul2school.org.
There will be a campus tour with a Facebook question-and-answer session immediately following. Applications for the 2021-2022 school year will be available online immediately following the open house.
John Paul II is currently full for many grade levels for the 2020-2021 school year. If interested in applying, please call 843-645-3838 or complete an online inquiry and the school will get back to you. If a desired grade level is full, prospective students would be placed on a wait list.
JPII is now open for in-person learning with a virtual alternative for some students.
5 with area ties get The Citadel ring
The seniors of The Citadel Class of 2021 were celebrated with a traditional Ring Presentation Ceremony on Sept. 25, in McAlister Field House on The Citadel campus in Charleston, attended by the South Carolina Corps of Cadets, Veteran and Active Duty students.
Members of the Class of 2021 with area ties include Briona Gray (Beaufort), Matthew Hurtt (Beaufort), Christian Najjar (Beaufort), Lyndsay Pires (Goose Creek) and Kenneth Spurlock (Beaufort).
Attendance at the ceremony was restricted to only ring-eligible seniors due to the need for social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
